It all Started when………..
The Edge Salon re-opened in April 2018 under new ownership. The Edge Salon Owner/ Educator, Hi my name is Deidre Brooks (Dee).
I am completely obsessed with all things hair and beauty. My passion & aesthetic are inspired by each clients individuality, curating looks for each and every person in my chair. The happiness & confidence of my guests is truly my motivation.
I specialize in all types hair textures and techniques, but am most inspired by the dimensional looks of sun-kissed blondes, Hair Extensions, Bridal Styling and Curly Hair. You can count on me to continuously seek out advanced training to stay up-to-date on ever evolving trends, products, & techniques to be able to provide the best to my clients.
Having worked in the salon industry for 20 years, for some of the top salons in South Louisville, I decided it was time to open my own salon and focus on creating amazing looks for my guests. I want my guests to feel welcome in an environment of inclusivity and positivity creating a comfortable, laid back atmosphere.
